Fractured Eye Socket - Orbital Fracture Reconstruction Surgery. This full color custom medical exhibit depicts the repair of an orbital blowout fracture with surgical reconstruction of the orbital floor. A coronal (anterior cut-away) section shows the right eye contents oozing through the inferior fracture site into the maxillary sinus below. This is followed by three intra-operative views showing the step by step implantation of a wire mesh to reconstruct the orbital floor.
